Spanish press reports have claimed that Valencia have made an official enquiry for Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 21-year-old has courted controversy this summer, firstly with the red card incident with Wayne Rooney during the World Cup, and secondly - by saying he was hoping to move to Spain.
The Red Devils have made their stance perfectly clear on the player, and insisted he will not be leaving Old Trafford despite the reported interest from Real Madrid and Valencia.
However, the director of sport at the Mestalla, Amedeo Carboni, has refused to give up on the player, and has reportedly asked for an official valuation of the Maderia born star.

Media sources in Spain suggest the figure could be around £17million, although this seems highly unlikely, given the age and talent of the winger.

Despite the claims, it appears Ronaldo will be staying in Manchester, with manager Sir Alex Ferguson insisting that his future is at Old Trafford.
